Dear friends, Im a new user of the forum, since i have bought the used car, a fiesta, Ghia, 1.25 Zetec engine, 3 doors, with anti thief system via remote. now since i got this car i never used the door lock directly to open the door, it was just easy for me to use the remote to open the doors. 4 days ago, it gave me some signs of strange acting of the door lock, that one of the driver, not the passenger side. the key i use is not so used, to have damaged the door lock. suddenly yesterday, it stoped working normally, and i cant open my dor by lock, as the remote tries to open it, but automatically re closes again. i eneter from the opposite door. a guy told me that i have door lock problems, and i should change it with e used or a new one. i didnt tried at least to open the cover of the door to see whats really acting strange there. im not a master of these things, but if i can do something, i would be very happy not to spend so much money for that. here in Albania a new door lock costs around 300euro. its not so cheap.
