Re: 2006 F150 5.4 engine missing while accelerating?

Watch that missing engine. I have a Forf F150 that was missing at higher rpms and was smelling of fuel. It has 41,000 miles. It turns out it was a faulty injector wich resulted in a bent rod and scored cylinder. Here is the really bad part!! I purchased this truck 10 months ago with 19,000 miles on it as a certified used car. So it came with the extended drive train warranty. Ford's waranty dpartment has decided that yes the engine is part of the drive train, but injectors are not and since it was a faulty injector that caused the problem, they are not covering this $3500.00 reapair.

So better watch those injectors!!!

If anyone has any ideas for me, I would love to hear them!!!
