If your using your Bronco as a 4WD, not a street machine, you get better drivability by just putting a set of 351 windsor heads on your 302. The boss 302 was rated at 290 hp in street trim, about 450 in race trim. But as previously posted, this is at high rpms. Basically a smaller cleveland engine, more of a race engine. These can be built to be strong and streetable, but still cheaper to build up your 302 or a 351 windsor. Cleveland heads are hard to find, not cheap, only made from 1970 to 1974. But if you want a relatively rare engine that can make gobs of power, go for it. I love anything that is different!
