Re: Coolant smell inside of car

Heater core for sure. Lengthy job, but it goes faster if you share your time with a 24 case! There are kits available that allow you to do a back-flush of the heater core to remove any rust/debris that can accumulate to prevent flow and ultimately failure. They hook up to a standard garden hose and prices do vary. I back-flush my vehicles every 2-3 years depending on mileage. You'd be surprised what can come out of one of those things.
