Keep in mind, one of the best HP to fuel economy to power ratios is using synthetic oil! It doesn't 'give' you HP, it unleashes it. I've noticed an increase in mileage in every vehicle I've used it in. Especially my Durango which now nets me 18.3mpg @ 55mph, and is only rated 16mpg by the EPA. Keep in mind, the old EPA tests (pre 2008), tested vehicles at 55mph on the highway cycle! Synthetics are the real deal
