As it's not a factory installed hitch you'll probably have to spice the wires yourself to make the 4pin connector work. Most hitches when they come from the factory, have a plug for the connector within a few inches from the hitch opening. The 4Wire end connects directly to the trailer. AllData might have a wiring diagram for you to follow, or, a cheap but reliable place to have a connector installed is a UHaul center. Then you don't have to worry about the guess work. I wired an earlier GM Vandura van with a 4pin connector, and it took me just over four hours with no manual. That was also six years ago when I did a lot of my own guesswork!
