Not true. If one goes to Priuschat.com, you can find
Prius owners who have had the unpleasant experience of having their hybrid battery fail. It is usually due to corrision of plates/connectors between the individual battery cells. I am not aware of a Ford Escape Hybrid having its hybrid battery fail yet.
