Well, if anyone has done this I would like to know. I installed a 300 dollar 1987 T-Bird 302 into my 1997 Ford F150 4x4. It is in now and hooked to my rebuilt 400 dollar AOD. Good engine with new timing chain only and Mustang four barrel Holley. Standard exhaust manifolds. My problem is I want the original Throttle Valve cable or rod that fit the Holley with the 302 AOD. I could use an OEM part number to start. It seems no one knows anything about this setup except run to Lokar or others for a quick fix. I need the original quick fix which to me makes the most sense otherwise why was it made to work right in the first place? I know that a sguare bore adjuster cable should work ok but really could use the original brackets for the intake and carburetor and transmission case. Anybody got any good sense about this let me know otherwise do like all the other so called know it alls and give me nine yards. I need facts, not allusions. Sure, there are experts that sell public information just because someone hides it for profit but if any one out there is willing to let freedom ring for everyone then let it go.
