Re: HELP ! Water leaking into Cab !! '01 F-150

I had to replace everything at my cost. The front window had to be taken out and resealed. I had to replace the fuse box and attached electronics. I salvaged the fuses though. :-)

I also had to replace the blower and the door locks along with the anti-theft device. All due to water coming in the front window because it was not properly installed at factory. You will find that the water is usually minimal and intermittant and it will dry out until it either corrodes or shorts out an electrical piece of equipment.

Ford refuses to discuss the matter and bans me from their website, a website that is declared as something for the owner of Fords to have input. Guess they don't want anyone to know about the problem. There are at least 10 official complaints to the Department of Transport on record as well.

Good luck but you have to fix the window or you'll continue to have problems.
