static 10 Registered User Join Date: May 2008 Location: Yorkshire Posts: 2	Re: Ford Focus 1.8 diesel non starter? help needed Update. Found the problem. It was the starter motor. Tapped it with a hammer and it sorted the trick. I suspect the bushes are on the way out, so next job is to change it.
