havent been on this forum very long but i will be moving very soon
cos ive had a few problems with my fiesta since ive owned it and im starting to think the car does not like me, only this week i could smell a burning smell in the car which cleared as soon as i switched the stereo off unfortunately when i switched it back on to try and locate the problem (which i new was in the boot) it blew the fuse to my AMP which i think is now knacked. but it really does seam like i have have problem after problem and the problem that really got me was when i had a dodgy front shock, the car was handling was fine but i had problems with braking meaning i would apply the brakes at not a fast speed and if i had just gone over a small pot hole in the road the car would skid down the road as if i was doing hundreds of miles per hour. this was the straw that broke the camels back, i fixed the problem quickly by replacing both front shock but i had been bitten one to many times and am convinced the car dont like me!!
i left a deposit on a Toyota MR2 last saturday and i pick it up on saturday this is now going to be my daily drive.
everything ive heard about toyota has been that they are really reliable i know its very different to the fiesta i drive but i wanted something a little faster to drive to and from work in and i also want to experience rear wheel drive. im not going to get rid of the fiesta for about a month or so just in case i have made a mistake with the MR2 also this will be the second non ford ive owned and this is also going to be a bit of a culture shock.
i will still have a Ford cos im keeping the RS2000 (the car in my sig) i guess i will still have a look on the forum from time to time.
