mad Re: Air Conditioner Problem - 2006 F-150 Crew Cab

I been having the same problem with the AC. It does not cool the cab well enough, the temp in the vents is 60 or 70, at the high fan setting. The dealer has given me no repair availables and that that's the way they are now. I have taken it to the dealer 3 times and they say that all the specs are correct according to Ford. I just called Ford today and explained the problem to them; they say that they would go with what the dealer says. I told them that tomoroow I would take it to another dealer to check it out, but I 'm starting to think that it will be a waste of time. Does any of you have just tried to put just a few more ounces of refrigerant to see if it gets any colder? sense it seems to be a lack of refrigerant according to some of the replys I've read in this forum? I'm going to put some more 134a by myself and see if it fixes the problem. What do you think about this? any other ideas?
