Crank Position Sensor. I assume this is a 5.4 w/COP. You'll need an assistant or a remote starter to crank the engine while you monitor the CKP output. It's AC. I'd pull the fuel pump fuse and run the engine till it's out of fuel before you get under there to check the CKP. Jackstands are a must and a flat level surface. Don't take chances. The CKP is located behind the harmonic balancer. A labscope or o scope would be best, but you can see a low voltage output with a DVOM set on AC. You'll have to backprobe the connector. Also try removing the connector to the CKP and spraying the jack and plug with electrical contact cleaner. I got a dead Lincoln Town Car w/5.4 V8 going this way. You have to look for something in common since your having numerous misfires on different cylinders at the same time. Think fuel or ignition.
