Ok I just purchased a 2003 model sportKA from a dealer. Test drove it, very happy. Now I own the car and managed a proper test drive i have discovered a niggling little problem. On changing up to 2nd or 3rd I often get a little squeaking noise - say if the revs don't match or on a more aggressive gear change. The car was sat around for a while before I came along, and the dealer suggested that this could have led to some sort of build up on the clutch which is now being worn away as one possibility.
On top of that, the passenger door is 'sticky' - it opens, shuts and is sealed just fine (a lot of rain today and no moisture in the car) but I have noticed that it is def not properly in line. There's no marks or dents to the surrounding body work, so I'm confident that it's not the result of an accident of some (major) kind! I was wondering if anyone might know if this isn't a too bad scenario and if it is rectifiable easily?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Ben
