What special tool??? It's just one bolt and it slips out. If it's a 3.0L Vulcan engine it's pretty easy. Just reach down behind the back of the engine to get at it. 3.0L Duratec is harder, you may have to do it from underneath. With no speedometer and no shifting, this is the most logical place to start.
