Only if you plan to haul heavy items in the van would you put 80psi in the tires. Most people get lazy as gas station FREE AIR pumps only go up to around 40-50psi anyway. I run my E250 with C range tires (245/70R16) at 60psi. My E-250 cargo is only rated to carry 2000lbs payload. I have the option to run up to 80psi, but ride suffers badly as there is no need to run the pressure that high.
