Sometimes (mostly), my turn signal control (arm) can't be moved up (right turn signal). This happens mostly when I have moved the control (arm) down first.

If I move the control (arm) forward (brights), I can always move it up.

Would anyone know what have happened, and how I might be able to fix it?

Thanks,

The Service Engine Soon or Check Engine Light is not related to your turn signal issue. You will have to get the codes checked. Parts store will do it for a small fee. If you can't move the Multi-function switch stalk to the right turn signal position unless you push it forward first to the high beam headlight position then you need a Multi-function switch.
