Well, the "Service engine soon" was on, which, according to the manual, indicated, as I said, that the On Board Diagnostic System had detected a malfunction. The light went out after a short while. If it is only one of the annoying "You need to service your engine", the light does not go out by itself, but you have to click "left and right" to turn it off.
In any event, I guess you mean by "...you need a Multi-function switch" that I need to replace the existing switch?
