I had the same problem with my 2003 Expedition last weekend.
I replaced spark plugs did an oil change and it was running rough again?
Then I did some research on the internet, I came across some weblink.
That weblink was the answer. You need to check your vaccum line towards
the back of the engine on top. Way back by the firewall there is a L-type of
hose. That might look like it's caved in, then when you try to move it you will see it has a big hole. Try replacing that, it's a pain getting back there to get it out. Then turn your ride back on and see if that solves your problem.
