Hello and good day:

May I ask what "manual" you are using?? to clear OBD codes you need to have them reset by two means.
1. Have a local auto store (Autozone, or Advance Auto) Read and Clear the code.
2. Disconnect the Battery and re connect it...
This should Clear the codes in the Pcm.
