Paul. thanks for that solid and authoritative response. Could you address the nature of that '73 Lincoln distributor? I'm using it because I need to be able to be very effective at trouble-shooting in remote places. The engine is doing 3000 at 60mph. which should be top of the torque curve, and maybe 4000 on grades. What would you say might be the most effective lower cost upgrade?
