ok heres the problem.
put an au engine and wiring into an eb. start it up cold can get up to 100kmhr no problems cruises along like a kitten for about 10mins then suddenly no power... cant get it to rev in drive.. no backfiring... just no power as if its not getting fuel.... after some testing i found out that if i stop the car as soon as it starts playing up for about 20mins i can start it up and again go to 100 and pur along no problems for about 10mins until it does it again. when it plays up the cars tempreture is not overly hot.. gauge is around the n and o in NORMAL on the dash.
so if its a fuel problem why can i drive for 10mins no probs then stop the car for around 20 mins and am able to drive good again for a lil while.
if its an overheating problem why isnt the gauge showing it ( the gauge seems to be working fine it starts at cold in the morning and moves up after a drive. and after i let the car sit for 20mins it goes down a little as if its working properly)
if its a sensor problem somewhere why does a 20 min stop fix it.
any ideas
cheers
btw i can let the car sit in park and idle all day long no problems...
