Re: Did Ford Make a Mistake with the 2010 Mustang
Here's my opinion: The Mustang is more for the "masses", so it is more affordable the way it is. The Camaro will be sold as a "niche", high end market vehicle, not the way it used to be marketed, therefore it is more expensive than the Mustang, if only for the higher HP, and the IRS alone. I believe Ford , by not offering a higher HP engine in the Mustang lineup, prevents encroaching on the GT500. If you want a higher HP Mustang, you will have to go for the GT500, GT is middle of the road, and the base is the V6. I haven't seen too many Challengers around, they are nice to look at, but they're just too big to me, and 4100 lbs!?!
I love the '10 Mustang, they really got it right, EXCEPT for the taillights!!!
