Head gaskets became something almost impossible to replace once asbestos was outlawed. I worked for McCord and each engine combination and design called for a different product to be used. I'm still not sure if they've come up with a total solution. Wife and I got good at keeping her old Camaro from leaking due to the gaskets. The race engines were ez since they got tore down frequently.
I use a synthetic from after break in to. I just thought I would try Arx to see what it could do. I still run a maintenance dose every OC. Engine sees some lazy days now that school is out.
