Helicoil isn't effective in this application - you need TimeSert. Click my '99 CV in my sig & look thru the Spark Plug album.
Blue smoke generally comes from motor oil entering the combustion chamber. How did you clean out the cylinder after tapping for the helicoil? If you left any shavings in there, the rings are probably ruined.
