I know everyone thinks ceramic pads are the best for stopping, but you won't hear that from the pad manufacturers. Plus, ceramic pads differ from brand to brand. There are NO standards when it comes to exactly what can be called a ceramic pad.

If you want the lowest brake fade, switch to semi-metallics. Ceramics are always a compromise between braking performance versus low noise and low dust. Semi-metallics do a better job of dissipating heat because they're filled with metallic strands.
