Here's a wiring diagram for the circuit. Check for power on the light green/yellow wire at the switch with a test light or voltmeter. Check to be sure black wire to the ground is good. If both are okay, you'll need a switch. You can wiggle both buttons on the switch a few times and sometimes the contacts will clear off if it is the switch.
