I have no idea how to remove the Hydraulic Clutch Line from the slave cylinder on the transmission. There is no quick-disconnect. And there is no white piece that I have previously read about when I searched forums. I have tried slipping a metal clamp over the hose and sliding it down into the fitting but nothing happened. Can someone please help me?
It may be missing, so then you need to get a small screw driver and working from one side to the next, push that plastic clip into the cylinder housing until you can no longer see it. Then pull on the line.
I just out to the truck and I put it on jack stands. I wasn't sure whether to do it from underneath or above the truck. I tried pushing the base of the line. I didn't see the "plastic clip" that I was supposed to be pushing in. What kind of screw driver should I use?
Don't have the new line yet. Do you have a picture of what this white thing is supposed to look like. Or I would probably just know when I get the new line?
Well I suppose that I'm just going to order a new line the of the internet and hope that it comes with this white clip, if it doesn't I'm going to be furious.
Yeah I am going to replace it. I'm just trying to avoid removing the transmission.
