My 1965 F-100 just got a newly rebuilt 300-6 at 212000 miles. I bought the truck from the original owner and he said that to the best of his memory the speedo only turned over once before I bought it. It just turned over again since I've had it. If he lost track of the turnovers then it could have 312,000. he said the truck never did any long distant trips. The original 240-6 still ran really good, it just started using a little oil. I wanted a bit more power so I had a 300-6 from a '79 f-150 rebuilt.
