Thumbs up Car Shows

Car Shows with daily drivers mixed with garage and show queens may seem depressing to compete but it really is not. The purpose of shows is to have fun, be with other Ford Owners, and maybe learn a few things to make your car a little better. I show my daily driver 1986 Mustang SVO at alot of shows in CA as not only a competitor but as a State and Chapter Director of SVO Owners Association and a group called FOMOCO Performance. You should enter the car in an all Ford Show that includes a basic outline of the point system in judging which nobody follows. The judges should be the participants with certain officers of the car club sponsoring the event selecting best of show, engine, or paint.
In my Chapter we have the day before the show set aside for detailing cars for the show where all club members pitch in on each others cars.
