Thanks for the post. The rear clip is a source of problems on all 3 versions 1/2,3/4, and the one ton. I haven't seen any with a serious rear door problem but the roof seam on the 1 and 3/4 ton models will stress crack and you have to keep an eye on it. The 1/2 ton models don't seem to have as big a problem @ the "clip line."
What years were you at the dealership? Could be the earlier models didn't have all the bugs worked out?
Oh well, I'd rather fix a Ford than buy a Chevy.
