FORD HAVING A FIESTA IN CHINA
The new Ford factory in mainland China will build a version of the Ford
Fiesta for local consumption, various news wires reported on Wednesday.
Ford controls 49 percent of China's Chang'An Auto Group and plans to build
up to 50,000 cars a year. A Ford spokesman says the Fiesta-based car will
begin production next April, Reuters adds, and its plant can be expanded
for up to 150,000 units a year.
