No way 2! The New engine with all its technologies, VVT and Quad cams, would be a very capable engine. Maybe N/A the LS1 would get more power, but look at it's higher compression ratio. Take a romeo or triton and whack on a blower and the improvement in power is phenomenol.
The end result is, both engines, if reliable will make more power than youd ever need dont worry about that.
