I have had a look at this site
http://www.falcongt.com.au/ID.html and cannot seem to find where 'L' fits in. My advice would be to email them and ask.
BTW, what type of car do you have??
it wouldn't be a May '67 Falcon 500 wagon would it???
I know that H is the brisbane plant, maybe it was made in Sydney????
