1:weve had a drought in NSW for how long???? thats right two years.
ill bet many of those 21 deaths were in wet/damp conditions. to say that speed cameras have saved lives based on the information is a load of
SHIT
2:in wollongong they have built a multi million dollar interchange at the bottom of MT OUSLY and have put cameras in just after. the interchange is now divided the whole way nice and safe(and fast) one fatality(due to fatigue) before the cameras and none after... theres your stats, thats a 100% reduction is it not??
3:the average annual road toll to my knowledge has been steady for years. the fact remains that no matter how many cameras are installed there is ALWAYS going to be people crashing cars, its called human error.<this is a full stop
4: do you honestly believe that if we vote either way that it will make a lick of difference? its about taxing people for enjoying their driving. all pollies want is more money in the coffers. speed cameras arnt called a tax ... thats why they like them so much... taxes down, spending up?
