That motor had D1 heads (1971). From memory, these did have the pollution "bump" in the exhaust ports. The current motor has D0VE heads, and they plow better out of the box. I had Allan Waye port the heads, but the iron BBF heads always suffer on the exhaust side....
Yeah, the Glide is a 2 speed. GM product in a Ford....
They're lighter and stronger than C4s or C6s, and one of the best Glide experts is a friend of mine. Both the XY and Cobra have Glides, and both of them are built to handle 1000+hp, so I know they'll never give me problems.
