Gday all, ive just recently got me car up and running again after donating $200 to the international carby mechanics fund and ive hit a problem. It is that (hot or cold) the car runs fine when revving and what not, but when idling, it seems to backfire... quite a bit
now im not sure if it was doing this before as its a recent acquirement and, well yeh.
TTN, yes it is only doing it when sitting there but come to think of it, xf is right, its more of a popping sound than anything, i think i will check the valves when i can....
just as an off note, will it be a bad thing to continue using, ie will it do mor damage?
if its a burn valve or valve not closed due to rocker clearence could check the rocker clearence or wrong pushrod lenth otherwise keep driving it dies thats my moto .
