Maybe Jacques wanted to alter Ford's policy about outsiders-but the REAL reason the man was fired was the way he was spending money on the dot.com side, and literally ignoring the development of new vehicles. Sure, in a way he brought about the new Thunderbird-but the re******t product was a failure in terms of sales. If they REALLY wanted to bring the car back as a "collector's car", they should have made the production run limit at 10,000 units a year.
