So Tony George feels "disappointed" and "helpless"? Well boo hoo.
I've never been a fan of the IRL with their ugly cars, boring exhaust notes and oval tracks. CART was always the better series, and if it wasn't for the Indy 500, all the top teams would still be in CART. Even the drivers didn't want to go there (de Ferren for one), but didn't have much choice.
Now IRL wants to add road courses?? Sounds like it was all a grand scheme for George to take over the series.
I hope the OWRS goes exceptionally well and the series prospers in the future. Bring on Surfers Paradise!
