Hi Dr_Hoon,
I just apgraded from an EB XR-8(to a BA XR-8).
The one difference between the EB XR's and the ED XR's is that the ED is Tickford enhanced and the EB is not, regardless whether is is a 6 or an 8.
That was my understanding.
