Ok, I don't own an E-series, but LuvinmyEB does, and at the moment I drive that most days, so I hope that qualifies me to add my 5c worth...
Filling the EB is no problem for us, works exactly as expected.

ex-shell (now 'Coles Express' here in Victoria, how FUBAR!) employee, I have to agree with you, Shell pumps
ARE shit house! Most people wouldn't believe how many problems they have with them (cutting out straight away, not cutting out at all, filling really REALLY slowly, the pump display going blank but the pump continuing to dispense fuel, pumps not working once the temp goes over 25 degrees (c) and so on), and what makes it worse is the number of people who work there who don't give a rats backside - they might get 50 customers telling them there's a problem with pump #5, but they won't do anything about it... After all, once their shift is finished, it's somebody elses problem, as far as they're concerned...
And even if a problem is reported, it doesn't mean it's going to be fixed...
