Prefer to do it myself and i the battery will be in the boot.
Is it best to put both in the boot or just one of them.
Exactly how do you wire it up? Is it as simple as splitiing the alternator wires or is there more involved?
I meant get a dual battery controller from a 4wd shop, there are a few different types, some can only work with identical batteries, some allow different ones (eg normal & deep-cycle).
Also see http://www.noco.biz/pdf/nococat.pdf for the types of switches and solenoids that can be used to run dual battery set ups, Various auto places (EG Repco) also sell these bits.
Cheers all. I'll pop down to jaycar and have a chat with them. Thanx again.
