351w 97 F-150 XL 4x4 Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Age: 37 Posts: 798	Re: 2000 5.4 idle problem sounds like an idle air problem or even a throttle position sensor ! i would look at the idle air first because it isnt monitored by the EEC which would explain why no engine light comes on. if it were a sensor it should show up in the form of an engine light. __________________ i would rather push my Ford than drive your Chevy !
