I'd just class that as rust repair. It must be the same chassis as from factory to still be the same car.
There was a genuine XY GT in australianmusclecars.com.au that was sold, that had been written off in the first year (71 I think) then rebodied with another genuine body from Ford and the numbers were stamped same as the write off on the new car.
Do people class this as an exception because it was an unstamped new replacement body?
