Has anyone had experience with DBA 4000 series rotors at all? I'm looking at these with great interest to replace the standard rotors on my EFII Fairmont. I was considering installing dba slotted rotors but i'm a little worried on the longevity of the pads (i got 12,000kays on a set of bendix extremes). Any opinions/thoughts would be greatly appreciated..
cheers
My understanding is they are very very good. I went with RDA for price reasons, and I'm still running them in, But I'm going to do some trackwork to see how they shape up.
I believe the DBA 4000's are good becuase they have been specially heat treated and handle higher temperatures very well. I also like the thermographic paint idea so you can get an approximation of how hot your rotors have been getting. I guess it depends what sort of driving you are planning on doing.
My mate is going in the East Coast Targa this week, and he has just put them on his Subaru STi, so I'll find out how good they are when he gets back.
