Good afternoon. My Escape drives great except that in October 2011 the check engine light came on. I took it to a buddy of mine and he said it was the Thermostat, that it was stuck open (vehicle ran great but never "warmed up"), so we replaced it. Everything was fine until April 2012 (last month) when check engine light came on again & the vehicle rand very cold, would not warm up again. This makes 2 Thermostats in less than 6 months, any ideas?

Edit: Both times the engine light came on the same thing happened; the engine ran cold (needle barely going over C) and the same OBD2 code was present P0128

I purchased this car last year, and it had sat for at least a year without being driven. There was approximately a 1/4 tank of fuel left in it. If I drain the remaining fuel, will there still be an issue when I add new fuel?Any residues etc.. that I need to worry about. What are some options?

i plan on replacing a set of injectors but i am confused which ones should i take... as far as i know the installed set is the original one (car have 140,000 miles) and so far they are working ok but i know they have a longevity so i thought replacing them as a precaution.

any recommendations on a specific brand/manufacturer ?
are there any special tool required for this task ? (i have all the basic tools but never did injectors replacement).

Thanks for any help !!
