'79 brake problems

I have a '79 F-150 and the brakes worked awesome, it could stop on a dime. It was sitting for a week, and when I went to start it to move it and had no brakes what so ever. Checked the master cylinder and it was dry. So I pressure washed the under body and topped of the brake fluid to look for a leak, but can't find one. The only thing I can think of is the master cylinder is shot, but the doesn't explain why I can't find the leak. I don't want to replace the whole brake system and find out it was something simply. Any ideas??

05 f-150 5.4. blue smoke @startup

Hi everyone. Im trying to keep from being jerked around by the dealer any longer.Well its actually my sisters truck and she is in the navy. Its a 05 f-150 with only 60k on it. It smokes alot of blue smoke on startups. First the dealer said it was the timing chain tensioner pilots. Then they said there was a tsb for the injectors. in which they replaced 2 bad injectors. then it was spark plugs(i thought they were 100k plugs). After all that it still smoked blue on start up and they said it was because the catylic converters had a bunch of leftover gas in them and it would have to be driven. So i gave them the benefit of the doubt after $2k in repairs. So on wednesday my sister drove from ohio to virginia to be restationed in northfolk.. And guess what? THE TRUCK STILL SMOKES more than my 7.3 PSD with 3 bad glow plugs. So Im hoping someone one here has experienced this issue with a 5.4. because now I am 500 miles away from the truck and the dealer out there says it has some major issues... And Im not there to keep my military sister from being ripped off and being jerked around.:wank2:

Please Help thanks Terry

2002 F150 Cruise Control Question

I have a 2002 Ford F150 and my cruise control seems to no longer work. None of the fuses have blown so I am trying to locate it on the engine but have come up unsuccessful.
I am aware of a recall but was told my VIN was not one of them.

If someone could show me a picture of were it is on the engine or just point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Adam

2007 Ford F150 Noise

Ok here I go, ive been having a noise in my truck since the end of last winter but I just got it back after being in an accident. Now i need to fix it, when I am driving it makes like a roaring noise, as you start to slow down it changes its pitch but when you speed up its like a constent noise that you can hear in the cab, I was told it was the rear end so me and my brother opened the rear end to find out everything was fine(check the pinon for play). I dont know much about mechanics so im lost and I dont want to take it to a garage to get the run around. Any ideas to helping solve this issues would be greatly appritiated.

Hi, this is my first post. I recently broke my leg and couldn't drive for about 6 weeks. I had my son start the vehicle once a week or so but not drive it. But, yesterday and this morning the first 2 times I drove to work I had slippage when pulling out from a stop (1mph stop any way) sign. The engine reved freely up to about 1500 rpm and didn't hook up until i released the throttle and tried again and then there was a bump kinda like a neutral drop. any sugestions? Its the 70 trany in 2 wd and dry mild conditions.:driver:
