2005 Focus AUX input

Hey all! So I've wanted for sometime to install or get installed an AUX input into my 2005 focus. The interface of my radio/CD changer looks like this:

Image: http://www.discountcarstereo.com/images/other/ford_aux.jpg

with the AUX button, but no input (which I assume is in the back of the radio). I've never installed anything into a car, and first was wondering what I should be looking for and in what price range. Also, I was wondering if I have my dealership do it for me what price range it should be?

By the way, this would be mostly for my Ipod Touch 3rd gen if that helps.

Thanks for your time.

Clunk when I get inside my parked Focus

Hi there,

first time focus owner, I have a 2000 focus comfort, and when I get into my car (not turned on, parked, with e-brake engaged) I heard a clunk. also if I were to rock back and forth, a similair clunk is heard. However when I pull up my ebrake further up, the clunk goes away. Is this something I should be worried about? is it the ebrake? or just normal cold/creaks that goes along with a 10-year old car.

Thanks

anyone replace the clutch on a 2.0 Zetec? (2003 ZX5 manual)

I have a 2003 ZX5 2.0 Zetec manual transmission. Clutch seems to be shot. A mechanic I know said the fluid has leaked from the transmission onto the clutch plate and now it's slipping. Dealer wants 1150, I think i can get this done for 650, as long as the parts are: Clutch Kit, Trans fluid and a new seal. Has anyone done this? Is the transmission easy to drop to get to this, (can it be done with some jacks in a driveway) or do i need to lift the engine out to get at it?

Hey,

New here, first post.

I just had my EGR valve / manifold replaced at the weekend as the garage said that it was broken, now I have a different problem.

When i start the engine, the engine warning light pops up, the mileometer flashs dashs (----) across it, and the RPM gage drops to 0 from its real valve, then spikes back up.

This doesnt always happen when starting the engine, sometimes its a bit later in the trip, the above will repeat. Whenever it is though, the engine warning light stays on for 5 - 10 seconds and then goes off when I have slowed down.

Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? Could the garage not have reset the computer when they changed the EGR valve? Could it be some sensor gone funny?

Can i boot it into test mode to see any error codes coming back?

Thanks,
David.
