HVAC system in 2009 Ford taurus X

I have a 2009 ford taurus x. I noticed that in the morning when my car starts and the hvac is around 19 c in the car I want to increase it to the maximum of 32c to get heat, I have to click on the up button about 15 times to get it up there or hold it down and watch as it PAINFULLY go up slowly to 32c. How come there is no way to go from 19c to 32c without having to click on the button roughly 15 times to get the heat up high? This is a classic example of where the old "Knob" technology of just turning from left to right for heat and cold is a FAR SUPERIOR way of designing this then the ridiculous up and down button.
Its getting annoying every morning having to change it from 19c to 32c on a cold morning by clicking on the button countless times. Would you think there would be a 1 touch high heat button somewhere !!
Any info would help to stop this painful process.
Thanks.

Car runs fine without MAF. Crappy with.

I have posted in the Windstar forum, however I think it's time to move my post to a better forum. So, I chose this.

I have done all the tune-up things, with exception to the fuel filter.

Car will misfire on 1 and sometimes 4 with MAF connected. No misfires at all when it's disconnected.

There is nothing that I can do now but just wait for an answer and feedback from internet forums like this.

I also replaced the MAF with no positive result either.

Checked the compression, that's fine, switched plugs and wires, still misfires on the same cylinder.

Lots of the TSB's say to clean the EGR ports. That may be my last option.

96 windstar GL 3.8

With the MAF disconnected and it runs perfect with tons o horsepower. Once I connect it, the check engine light will flash away for misfires.

PLEASE!! help.

Hi there:
I have a 2003 explorer and the parking assist is not working.
I am wondering what kind of obd2 code reader will read ford specific
codes such as chassis codes c1701 and while I am at it will read abs codes
and tranny codes.

Will any new OBD 2 code reader do it( I have an old one and it does
not pickup any codes even though parking assist light indicates it's disabled)

Thanks very much....Chris
