Any idea if I could purchase the 03 CV LX +6" extended unit without the other features of the Taxi or Police packages? Ford Cust Service was no help. Said the Fleet division handles. I don't qualify as a "fleet" buyer, & have had no luck getting an E-Mail address. The fleet web site was a dead end.

Did you talk to a dealer? You should be able to order from a cooperative dealer

Thanks. Well, I ennded up ordering a Mercury Grand Marquis (03), LS Ultimate 4-weeks ago. Hope it hits soon!

four weeks? it should be fairly soon then, unles it was still during the plant down time.

Order placed 7/9, told they were running 4-6wks. Build date now= 8/26, then 1-2 weeks after that should be here. May have hit & Dealer sold for more than he could make on an A-Plan deal. Trust no one. I have a Vin given by Dlr, lets see if it matches what is delivered to me! Perhaps will have by first snow........ Expect I will like the changes if I get it.
